Bell as chair of its board of trustees. Dr. Bell is the president and chief executive officer of Casey Family Programs and a 35-year veteran of the human services field.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDr. Bell is a thought leader who has made considerable impact in the field of child welfare,\u201d said National CASA Association CEO Tara Perry. \u201cWe are thrilled to be able to leverage his expertise, leadership and insights to continue to advance National CASA\u2019s mission. Dr. Bell\u2019s support will help ensure our success during this time of growth and development for our national network of programs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>About the appointment, Dr. Bell said, \u201cI am honored to be named the incoming board of trustees chair for National CASA\u00a0and\u00a0support its important\u00a0work\u00a0to\u00a0build hope and opportunities for our nation\u2019s most vulnerable citizens. CASA plays a critical role in\u00a0shaping the conversation around\u00a0how we\u00a0as\u00a0a\u00a0nation can best support the safety, success\u00a0and hope of all of America\u2019s\u00a0children\u00a0and families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Bell became president and chief executive officer of Casey Family Programs in 2006, after serving as its executive vice president for child and family services.
