Cathie Waters Cardelucci<\/h2>\n\t\t

\"\"As a volunteer for Kappa Alpha Theta and a local CASA program, Cathie Waters Cardelucci<\/strong> has seen the influence of both organizations individually\u2014and she has also been part of the greater influence they have as partners. \u201cAs an individual, a chapter or together with our Theta sisters all over the world, Thetas can make a difference to children who have experienced abuse, neglect or abandonment. It is in within our power as we strive to exercise the widest influence for good to help every child have a chance to thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since her initiation by Theta\u2019s Beta Xi Chapter at UCLA 40 years ago, Cathie\u2019s involvement with both Theta and CASA\/GAL programs has reached the national level. For eight years, she served on the Theta Foundation board of trustees, including as vice president. She is especially proud of being on the Theta Foundation board of trustees when it committed to Theta\u2019s campaign to raise $1 million for National CASA\/GAL and of having chaired Theta\u2019s College Chapter Giving Committee for that campaign.<\/p>\n

Cathie continues to be involved with a CASA program and with Theta at the local level as an active member of the Friends of CASA Orange County Board Advisory Council and the Orange County Theta Alumnae Chapter.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere could be no better organization to align with Theta aims than our national philanthropic partner, whose mission is to help every child have a chance to thrive,\u201d she says. \u201cBy volunteering my time and donating to CASA, I can take an active part in helping a child find a safe and loving forever home.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Providing a CASA volunteer can be that single turning point in a child\u2019s life that empowers a bright future they never imagined was within their reach.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
