Viola Kluver Moore<\/h2>\n\t\t

\"\" Dictionaries define harmony as \u201ca pleasing combination,\u201d and that is an apt description of both the provenance and purpose of Harmony House, located near Fort Collins, Colorado. The house holds the administrative offices of CASA of Larimer County, supports the CASA volunteer recruitment and screening process and offers a homelike environment for CASA volunteers to spend time with the children they serve.<\/p>\n

Donated to the CASA program by Viola Kluver Moore<\/strong> and husband John, the Kluver family farmhouse that would become Harmony House had been used as a rental property. Theta collegians and alumnae of the Beta Gamma Chapter at Colorado State University enthusiastically pitched in to repair, paint and clean the house, preparing it for its new role.<\/p>\n

Described in a 1991 Kappa Alpha Theta Magazine article as the first facility of its kind in the United States, Theta alumnae in the Fort Collins area continue to support Harmony House and CASA of Larimer County, extending the legacy Viola began more than 30 years ago.<\/p>\n

An alumna of Theta\u2019s Beta Gamma chapter at Colorado State University, Viola passed away in November 2002.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are truly grateful for the legacy Viola\u2019s donation has created in our community as it has touched the lives of thousands of children in the past 30 years.\u201d <\/strong>\u2014Sabrina Stoker, executive director, CASA of Larimer County<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
