Sellaway, <a href=\"mailto:sheryls@nationalcasagal.org\">sheryls@nationalcasagal.org<\/a>, 404.695.5564<\/em><\/p>\n<p>ATLANTA, Georgia \u2013 February 14, 2020 \u2013 The National Court Appointed Special Advocate\/Guardian ad Litem (CASA\/GAL) Association for Children today announced that David Todd was recently elected to its board of trustees. He is a real estate executive, civic leader and youth basketball coach in the greater Atlanta community. Todd is a First Vice President in CBRE\u2019s Office Tenant Representation Group, based in Atlanta, representing clients in the airline industry, government, technology, healthcare, media and advertising, among others.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDavid is a superb addition to National CASA\/GAL Association\u2019s board. He has a long history of working with youth in the community. David is a visionary who brings to the board a rich history of possibility-thinking, rolling up his sleeves and astute relationship building. He understands how important it is seize and grow opportunities with foresight, thoughtfulness and the future in mind,\u201d said National CASA\/GAL CEO Tara Perry. \u201cDavid\u2019s wealth of knowledge, grasp of the business world and expertise about a vast number of industries will help us to build and expand our reach in the Atlanta area and beyond. We are thrilled to have him extend his service and advocacy for youth through our organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Todd holds a master\u2019s degree in business administration from Harvard Business School and was awarded the Johnson &amp; Johnson Leadership Fellow. He is also a graduate of Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing. Prior to his current role as First Vice President at CBRE, Todd was CEO of Laconic Logic, an Internet software company. Todd has played an integral role in some of Atlanta\u2019s most significant real estate transactions, including advising the City of Atlanta on the sale of Underground Atlanta and the marketing of Atlanta\u2019s historic Civic Center and 67-acre Turner field.<br \/>\n\u201cCASA instills incredible hope in our youth,\u201d said Todd. \u201cI want to be that voice for children whose only option may be to live life one day at a time overcoming challenges. With that in mind, I look forward to opening doors and lowering ceilings for children who may not realize that futures exist beyond what they may have seen or imagined.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Todd is active in the Atlanta community and has supported the Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, Saved by the Ball Foundation and is a member of Central Atlanta Progress.
